About This Product
Every feature of the Charvel Pro Mod So Cal is designed with the player in mind. If it doesn’t contribute to making you play better, Charvel have left it out. The Strat styled body is carved from alder which exudes a wonderfully balanced sound. The Strat style double cutaway body’s contours aid you in achieving extreme playing comfort.
On top of that, the So Cal has all the performance-driven features and craftsmanship details that Charvels guitars are well known for, including a Floyd Rose double locking tremolo, a super-fast satin finished maple neck with compound radius fretboard, and a pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups, an SH6n Distortion in the neck and a TB6 Distortion in the bridge, both with coil splitting for a massive range of tones, recapturing the sound of the Southern California Superstrat craze of the 1980s.
