About This Product
Humbuckers do not all sound alike, despite the common misconception that they do. Gibson has a range of humbucking pickups available, each model with it's own distinctive personality. This one was the first signature pickup designed and built by Gibson, as a collaboration with legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, and it's unlike any other. It is the same humbucking pickup that Iommi uses on his signature model Gibson SG. The closed cover design means that it's built to really pack a punch with razor-sharp highs, blistering mids and tightly focused low end. The magnet configuration and special wire winding ensure maximum sustain, while the wax and epoxy potting protects against noise and unwanted microphonic feedback.

Can I test an item before buying it?
Unless displayed in a store, we keep our instruments freshly sealed in our warehouse. Should you wish to try an instrument before ordering it online, please call your favourite Swee Lee showroom before heading down, and our staff will be happy to assist!
