This is a vinyl EP pressing of Last Year Was Weird Vol. 2 by Tkay Maidza. The Zimbabwean-born Australian singer-songwriter and rapper released her EP on August 7, 2020, through 4AD Records. This album is the first released on 4AD, the release followed 2018’s Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 1, which established her as one of the most exciting voices in the new guard of hip-hop. Vol. 2 will include 2019’s trap-infused, ARIA-nominated single ‘Awake’ featuring JPEGMAFIA, which earned a best of the decade nod from The Needle Drop, as well as praise from Pitchfork, The FADER, Dazed, Complex, and others.
