This is a Not Now reissue vinyl LP pressing of Mack the Knife: Ella In Berlin by Ella Fitzgerald. The American jazz singer originally released her live album in 1960, through Verve Records. Produced by Norman Granz, the album was recorded during a concert at the Deutschlandhallen in Berlin which holds almost 12,000 people, and you can hear the same enthusiastic reaction, the same eager applause, that mark similar recordings Ella has made before live audiences in America. The album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999, which is a special Grammy award established in 1973 to honor recordings that are at least twenty-five years old, and that have "qualitative or historical significance."
