About This Product
Made in Spain with uncompromising craftsmanship for the most discerning of players, the MEINL Artisan Edition Slaptop Cajon is built with features that elevate its sound. The enlarged 6-ply Baltic Birch body with upward-facing front port deepens bass notes, while the elegant Palo Santo playing surface dishes out crisp snare and slap tones. Equipped with eight pre-tuned custom micro-coiled steel cajon strings that span the interior of the playing surface for a sensitive snare effect. The unique shape of MEINL Slaptop Cajons brings the striking surface nearer to the player for an upright playing position with forward sound projection.
