About This Product

Made in the classic Celtic style, this traditional Bodhran from MEINL is a unique instrument that gets its beautiful sound profile from the use of a hand-selected goat head held by means of wooden cross bars. The musician simply plays the instrument with a double headed tipper, teasing out big, resonant sounds that are full of sharp, warm and soulful tones. An internal tuning system is included to help musicians find the precise tuning they want, dialing in their own style and making full use of how adaptable this instrument really is.
