This is a vinyl LP pressing of Modern Vampire of the City (EU Press) by Vampire Weekend. The American indie-rock band originally released their third studio album on May 14, 2013, via XL Recordings. Produced by Rostam Batmanglij and Ariel Rechtshaid, the album's sound was the result of a variety of unconventional experimental recording assets, including pitch shifting. Modern Vampires of the City debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming Vampire Weekend's second consecutive number-one album in the United States. At the 2014 Grammy Awards, Modern Vampires of the City won in the category of Best Alternative Music Album. In 2020, Rolling Stone placed it at number 328 on the magazine's revision to the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.
