About This Product

This is a vinyl LP pressing of Souvlaki (MOV Reissue) by Slowdive. The English rock band originally released their second studio album on June 1, 1993, via Creation Records. Produced by the band members, the album was recorded at Protocol Studios in London, Courtyard Studios in Sutton Courtenay and The White House Studios in Weston-super-Mare.

SLodive is one of the most prominent within the shoegaze scene, which rose to prominence in the UK during the early 1990s. The band broke up soon after the release of their third studio album in 1995. Upon Slowdive's re-formation in 2014, the band began playing to larger crowds than they did during their initial run, and members realized that they were more famous and recognisable than ever before.
