About This Product

Just as the Grand Pacific body shape introduced a new kind of seasoned tone to the Taylor line, the AD27e Flametop brings a new sonic flavour with an earthy, broken-in character. This dreadnought-style guitar boasts a back, sides and top of solid Big Leaf maple, with Taylor's V-Class bracing under the hood. Combined with nickel bronze strings from D'Addario, the maple construction results in an appealingly rustic sound that's totally distinct from the pristine, vibrant quality that many players associate with Taylor. Visually, the AD27e Flametop offers a rootsy, workmanlike vibe that fits right in with its siblings in the American Dream Series, with maple's beautiful figure complemented by a dusky Woodsmoke finish and a satin sheen. It's available with ES2 electronics and ships in a lightweight, super-sturdy AeroCase.
