This is a 2021 reissue vinyl LP pressing of The Who Sell Out by The Who. The British rock band originally released their third studio album on December 15, 1967, through Decca Records. Produced by the band's manager, Kit Lambert, it was a concept album of songs made into advertisements, with the cover art featuring members of the band pretending to endorse various products. The band actually was doing a few commercials at the time, so this album was intended to poke fun at that. This was the first pop album ever not to list the song titles on its cover. The album has frequently been featured on all-time lists of the best albums, including Rolling Stone magazine's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". However, it was the band's lowest-charting album on the UK Albums Chart, where it peaked at number 13.
